The brand new 1x1 Player-vs-Player mode with Win-2-Earn Battle Arena is a massive update to the Souls of Meta game. It implements a super innovative and highly sustainable proprietary Win-2-Earn model where players can have fun battling each other and win cash rewards!

There is also a Free-2-Play training mode available where you can practice your fighting skills with real players before entering the heat of real Win-2-Earn where tokens are at stake!

PvP vs PvE modes comparison

Requirements: PvE — 2 NFTs (10 BUSD), PvP — Gladiator Badge (5 BUSD)
Yield: PvE 10.5 BUSD per week max and only for Top 3 Monthly earners, PvP — $9 BUSD per battle (5–10 minutes)
Risk level: PvE — none, PvP — high (win or lose scenario)

👉🏻 As you can see from the above Win-2-Earn PVP Battle Arena is a high-risk high-reward type of gaming mode. It is designed for players who excel in battle and enjoy higher stakes!

Here are the detailed game mechanics of the new mode:

🛠 Win-2-Earn PvP Rules and Mechanics 🛠

⭐️ 1 PvP Battle requires 2 players to fight each other and determine the winner
⭐️ To enter the PvP matchmaking each player should get at least 1 Gladiator Badge
⭐️ Each Gladiator Badge costs 5 BUSD at a current special price
⭐️ Each Battle consists of a minimum of 2 rounds
⭐️ For each Battle between 2 players, the Prize Pool consists of Gladiator Badge price x2 (10 BUSD)
⭐️ The Winner of the Battle will get $9 (90%) out of the $10 Prize Pool as the Platform fee is $1 (10%) per Battle
⭐️ Chances to win in battle are 100% dependent on player skill in the game and are currently not influenced by NFT rank or character attributes.
⭐️ NFTs are optional, but Characters have different skills that give an edge over default non-NFT Characters. You can buy NFTs here and unlock 3 skills in the Fun-2-Earn mode.

⏰ Daily Battles for Matchmaking ⏰

You will be able to join the battle at any time with your friends. But if you don’t have an opponent — no worries, we’ve got you covered.

Daily Battles are live two times per day and last for 1 hour. The first half is for Win-2-Earn and the second is for training in Free-2-Play. Both modes are available through the Arena Master NPC. These would be the slots for all the players to simultaneously join the fun:

Matchmaking time slots: 7–8 PM UTC-8 and 7–8 PM UTC+8 on a Thailand Download Region in Steam.
Join Win-2-Earn Battles at 7–7:30 PM UTC +/-8
Join Free-2-Play Battles at 7:30 PM UTC +/-8

Join the battle at these times to maximize your chances of finding the opponent (matchmaking)! You can also look for opponents and schedule battles with them on a dedicated Discord Matchmaking chat.

For the Free-2-Play PvP mode, you simply find an opponent and join the battle together by hitting the Training mode button at the Arena Master NPC in-game.

🏁 How to start? 🏁

Key Steps:
1️) Create an account on SoulPad Portal and download the game client
2) Purchase the Gladiator Badges on SoulPad Portal
3) Launch Steam (with Thailand set as a Download Region) together with the game client
4) Find an opponent to fight against or enter Win-2-Earn PVP Battle Arena at the Daily Battles time slots to increase chances of matchmaking as described in the above section
5) Check your Dashboard and receive your rewards in BUSD by the 5th day of next month

Note: you do not need NFTs to play in the Win-2-Earn PVP Battle Arena mode! However, players with NFTs have special powerful skills that they can use and have an edge.

Here is a detailed step-by-step guide on how to start in Win-2-Earn PVP Battle Arena:

✅ Go to SoulPad Portal and grab your Gladiator Badges.

✅ Make sure your game client is up-to-date (the latest version is always available here or through the game launcher), the game runs at least 30 FPS and the internet connection is fast.

✅ Run the Steam app for multiplayer features to work. You can download it from the official Steam website.

✅ After installing Steam you have to log in to your Steam account and set the same Download Region in Settings, i.e. for Daily Battles — Thailand. See the screenshots below or review the Official Steam FAQ.

Steam Settings -> Downloads -> Download Region -> Thailand

Hint: If you wish to play with your friend without a risk that someone else might join instead, you can select the same Download Region for just the two of you.

✅ Now you can launch the Souls of Meta game client and log in to the game as usual. Just make sure that the Steam app is running in the background and allow the firewall exception for the game if requested by your system.

✅ On the INO Town you will find a new NPC called Arena Master (see the below screenshot). Approach and talk to him by hitting the <F> button. You will see the available Gladiator Badges count that should be a minimum of 1 for you to be able to enter the Win-2-Earn PVP Battle Arena.

✅ Click the <ENTER> button with the mouse cursor and you will appear on the Win-2-Earn PVP Battle Arena! Now you have to wait for your opponent to do the same and you will be automatically matched!

Hint: Try searching for PvP players on our dedicated Discord Matchmaking chat. Or join at Daily Battles time slots specified above.

✅ Each Battle has at least two fighting rounds (2:0). If after these 2 fighting rounds the Win/Loss score is 1:1 there will be a final fighting round that will decide who wins (2:1).

✅ After the Battle BUSD will be automatically accrued to the winner’s balance. The monthly Win-2-Earn payout will be visible on your Dashboard.

✅ You can approach the Arena Master NPC again to join a new Battle or to buy more Gladiator Badges and review your Gladiator Badges count, Total Games Played, and Win/Loss scores. You can also review your PvP stats on the Portal. Read more about the Win-2-Earn stats here.

Hint: In case there is no one to battle against for quite a while — you may quit the Win-2-Earn PVP Battle Arena by hitting the ESC button. The Gladiator Badge won’t be withdrawn from you.

‼️ If a player quits the match — the opponent will automatically win the battle and receive the Prize Pool.
